Hi Crafty friends! I have one more project to share highlighting the October Hero Studio. I paired the fancy die of the month with one of my favorite holiday stamp and cuts Holly Berries to create a holiday wreath. I love that this die set comes with a bunch of different stings of lights and a few dies to cut lots of light bulbs.
For this project I stamped the Cling stamp of the month on Antique Ivory cardstock with Soft Vanilla ink. This will be my background panel. Then I did a bunch of die cutting. I die cut the small holly sprig 8 times from Meadow cardstock. I did some light ink blending with Fresh Lawn and Pine in for dimension. I added Gold Hero Pearls to all of the berry bulbs and set all that to side to dry.
I die cut the rounded sting of lights 4 times from Shamrock cardstock. I sprayed a scrap of white cardstock with Iridescent Shimmer Spray and then die cut the light bulbs once it was dry. I glued the bulbs onto the string of lights and then added glossy accents to each bulb. I put that to the side to dry completely.
Now to go back to the wreath. I traced a circle in the middle of my panel and adhered the 8 holly sprigs around the circle. I tried to only glue down the center branch around the circle. I weaved the string of lights through after. and then snipped apart single lights to fill in the wreath.
I die cut the bow from gold glitter cardstock and popped that up with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment in black ink from Holiday Greeting Stamp & Cut. If you are interested in Hero Studio subscriptions, you can find more information here. October subscriptions are open until October 27.
I think the colors and design give this wreath a timeless and classic holiday feel. You can easily change this up with different foliage and by using colored cardstock for the lights. See you all back her on November 1 for the next Hero Studio release.
I threw my Swiftie heart into this release and used her upcoming album as inspiration for my projects today. I can’t tell you exactly when I became a full on Swiftie but I cannot deny the fact that Taylor Swift has me caught up in Easter eggs, numerology and granny hobbies. The timing of this October Hero Studio release is so perfect. It is a fun and unique for the holidays.

I drew my inspiration from the color palette of the new Taylor Swift album. For my background I used Spellbinders Mint cardstock and splattered with Creamsicle Reactive inker.I cannot tell you how excited I was when I found orange glitter paper in my stash. I used the large disco ball and die cut it along with a similar size circle from Papaya cardstock. I glued most of the disco ball to the papaya backer. The pieces that popped out I popped up with foam tape for dimension. I die cut the large bow from Spellbinder Waterfall cardstock, did some light ink blending and assembled with precision glue. I heat embossed the sentiment with Creamsicle reactive ink and clear embossing powder on the Waterfall cardstock too. Lastly I die cut some of the sparkle dies from Papaya cardstock.
I heat embossed the sentiment with Creamsicle reactive ink and clear embossing powder on the Waterfall cardstock too. Lastly I die cut some of the sparkle dies from Papaya cardstock. Then it was on to assembling the card. I think any Swiftie would be so happy to get this card in the mail.

Again, I used the new TS album as color inspiration. This layering stencil makes quick one layer cards that have tons of detail and a bold statement. I started with a white card panel and used Artic ink on stencil 1, Paradise ink on stencil 2, Tangerine and Papaya ink on stencil 3 and Tangering and Bermuda on stencil 4. I went back with stencil 3 and did a thin layer of Glitter Hero Paste. The sentiment is stamped with Papaya ink. I trimmed it down and added it to a card base.

Hi there! I am back with one last set of cards using the Hero Arts September Layering Stencil of the Month. I thought a monochromatic set of cards would make a nice hostess gift for the upcoming holidays. I used a fall color theme but you could change it for any season. I paired the layering stencil with Hello Rainforest die set. The leaf and Hello die are both in this set.
For the Yellow card I used Mustard Cardstock and Spicy Mustard, Butter bar and Pumpkin ink.
For the Blue card I used Adriatic cardstock with Bermuda, Aquatic and Deep ocean inks.
For the Orange card I used Pumpkin cardstock with Tangerine, Pumpkin and Pale Tomato inks.
For the Green card I used Pesto Cardstock with Fresh Lawn, Pine and Moss inks.
All the cards used Cup of Joe for the tree stump layer and gold hero Pearls. Wouldn’t these make the prettiest gift for a hostess or teacher? You can subscribe to the Hero Studio and cancel anytime. To get this layering stencil you’ll need to subscribe before Sept 27!
While I am waiting for Fall to arrive in California, Hero Arts is preparing me with the September Hero Studio. This month we have a perfect mix of cute critters and fall foliage.
September 2025 Card Kit of the Month
Kit Includes:
• Fall is my Favorite 6×8 Stamp Set • Fall is my Favorite Coordinating Dies • Treehouse Die Set • Sunset Enamel Dots • Brown Twine, 1 yard • 10 Sheets of Cardstock- 1 of each color, 5.5″ x 8.5″ (Truffle, Merlot, Cinnamon, Terra Cotta, Carrot, Coral, Bellini, Beeswax, Saffron, Tuscan)
The tree die cut is so good. I love the size of it and how well it mixes with the the little squirrels. I die cut the tree from Cup Of Joe cardstock and lightly ink blended the edges to highlight the definition from the fancy die. I stamps individual leaf stamps in Pine ink on pine cardstock for the background panel. I stamped and colored the images and then die cut those. I heat embossed a sentiment from he kit with Embossing and Watermark ink and Clear embossing powder.
Scene cards are not my favorite make but I leaned into all the cute critters and images to create this fun project. I stamped all the images in Intense black ink and then colored with my copic markers. I masked off a little more than half the background panel and very lightly ink blended the ground with Fresh Lawn, Spicy Mustard and Cup of Joe inks. Then I masked off the bottom and lightly ink blended with Dusty Blue. I think mostly it was just whatever remaining ink that was on my blending brush. Then I stepped waaaaaaaay out of my box and freehand drew some trees. I am always impressed when cardmakers do this. I will say, I almost starred over after I drew those trees. But, I persisted. I added the critters and leaf garland. Here is the lesson: not all cards you make have to be your favorite. Hahaha

I played with the Layering Stencils and created two very similar cards. These layering stencils make cards come together so fast. I chose to do a traditional fall color theme with Fresh Lawn, Spicy Mustard, Fawn, Pumpkin and Pale Tomato and Cup of Joe core inks.
I literally just randomly ink blended colors together and then layered the next stencil with more random ink colors. I didn’t mask anything off. I just did areas of color and if it blended into the nearby tree, I didn’t mind. The last layer was Cup of Joe. I trimmed it down and heat embossed a sentiment from the the Card Kit.
This card was done exactly the same as the first but on Sand Cardstock and Gold Hero Paste. I want to pull this stamp out again and make a monochrome set of cards in fall colors. I think a set of thank you cards in fall colors would make a great hostess gift for Thanksgiving or any fall gifting.

Hi everyone! I am back with one more share highlighting the Hero Arts August Hero Studio subscriptions. I absolutely love the clear Stamp and Die set this month. The You Are Magic crystal ball is so fun.
For the card below I stamped and silver embossed on black watercolor paper. Then I used the metallic sprays like a watercolor for some shimmery color. I stamped the Cling stamp of the month on Nautical cardstock with Unicorn white pigment ink. Then I used the Whole Studio Bonus stencil for some extra embellishment.
The next card I used the stencil on vellum then I heat embossed to dry the ink. Ink on vellum can take a minute to dry. Then I flipped the vellum over and heat embossed the sentiment with black embossing powder on the opposite side of the ink blending. I die cut the vellum with the crystal ball die and also stamped and die cut from Charcoal cardstock. I trimmed of the ball from the charcoal one adhering the base to the vellum. For the background I stamped the Cling stamp of the month with Charcoal ink on Charcoal cardstock. Then I ink blended the outside edges with Grape Juice ink. I dry fit where the crystal ball would sit and ink blended with Sea Salt Reactive ink to create a halo around the crystal ball. I used tape runner behind the sentiment and liquid glue on the base to adhere it to the panel.
This card gave me some problems but in the end, it worked out. The background is the same as the card above. But the crystal ball has the light up feature that came in the Card Kit of the Month. I die cut the crystal ball from Charcoal multiple times. Then I used the Holographic Rainbow , Acetate and One Light to make the crystal ball light up. I have an explanation of that process on my August Hero Studio blog post. Instead of lighting up the frame, I did the crystal ball and instead of seeing a face I used the Don’t Hide Your Magic sentiment.
