My Monthly Hero February 2026

2.1.2026

We are moving into flower season! The theme of this month’s kit is florals and bunnies. I did a bunch of stamping, coloring and then die cutting. I like to mass produce cards so this is the most time efficient way to create several cards with each kit. I like to make a few versions of different cards and then use the extra pieces to create multiples of those cards.

My Monthly Hero Subscription
Includes:
• Hoppy Spring Stamp & Cut
• Field of Flowers Layering Stencil Set
• Springtime Blooms Die Set
• 10 Sheets of Cardstock – 1 of each color, 5.5″ x 8.5″ (Cascade, Fern, Rainforest, Mint, Carrot, Coral, Bellini, Chiffon, Beeswax, Alabaster)

I used the layering stencil with Hero Arts core inks in Passion Flower, Peony, Dandelion, Cornflower and Green Apple. I also colored some images from the stamp & cut included in the kit. The sentiment is Happy Easter stamp & cut XL.

Assembly of the card was simple. I trimmed the stenciled panel down and added the Easter die cut near the top of the card making sure to leave space to stamp Happy. Lastly, I added the colored images.

My Monthly SUPER Hero
Includes everything in the regular MMH above, plus:
• Hoppy Spring Layering Stencil Set
• Wildflowers Stamp & Cut
• Bunny Trio Die Set
• Grass Die

I made so many of these die cut flowers. I was able to make 3 projects full of flowers. I also die cut the bunnies and grass from the Super Hero kit. Assembly was straight forward, just gluing and popping up some of the dies.

There are so many great pieces in these kits but I think my favorite is the floral dies. They are easy to put together and you don’t need to fill the card, using just a couple makes a big impact too.

As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog and shopping with my affiliate links. I will be back to share a couple more projects with these kits later this month. See you back here soon or or check out my IG @pocketful_of_rosie

My Monthly Hero January 2026

1.5.2025

Anyone else as excited as I am that Hero Art My Monthly Hero is back? I am so happy to have two kit options:

  1. My Monthly Hero – $45
  2.  My Monthly Super Hero – $75

Kit will be revealed on the 1st of every month and the subscription window is open from the 1-27th. You can subscribe, switch plans, or cancel anytime. Easy Peasy! As always once a kit sells out, it is gone for good and won’t be restocked. There are some perks to being a subscriber so check out the Hero Arts website for all the details.

With all the hype of the return of My Monthly Hero, January’s My Monthly Super Hero is already sold out! But, you still have time to get the My Monthly Hero. I am sharing a few projects for the kits below.

I used images from the main kit and colored them with my new Olo markers. I die cut and arranged on a large background panel. I used the Postage Stamp infinity dies.

I used a different color palette than what came in the kit but I really like the blues and peaches together. I used Spellbinders cardstock in Chiffon, Bellini, Coral, Cascade and Celestial.

This card used the large die from the main kit. I kept it simple and made the mailbox the focal point. I used Comic Sky and a matte gold cardstock for this project.

For the My Monthly Super Hero project I did a little mass producing and made 4 of the same card-just changed up the background panel colors. I used several grey cardstocks from my stash, Spellbinders Anchor and Hero Arts Charcoal and Granite.

The card were pretty simple. I stamped the newspaper image and die cut it out. Then I use a side folding card and die cut the newspaper but did not cut the left side so the newspaper would fold. Then I adhered the stamped image to the mini card. I used the Novel Prose bold print with Charcoal ink on each of the grey backgrounds. I andhered the mini newspaper card to the background and stamped the Make A Wish greeting inside the newspaper. The main card is a top folding A2 card but the newspaper opens as well. you could even add a gift card in there.

Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you are able to snag a My Monthly Hero Kit before they sell out!

Soup season

12/20/2025

My final project of 2025! I created one more project with the December Card Kit of the Month. This one has an older PressPlate but I will tell you how to substitute with something from the release.

I made this card with some leftover bits and pieces from the other projects. I made a grid focal point and then mat it together as a group. I love doing this with a bunch of small images.

I used Mustard cardstock on for the background and Lapis for the mat.

For the background I used an old Hero Arts PressPlate. There is an Alphabet embossing plate in the Last Chance section that would also work. But, you could also use the letters from the Fancy Die of the month or even the Luggage Tag alphabet dies.

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday and I will see you in the New Year. Oh! That reminds me, did you hear the exciting news? Hero Arts is bring back My Monthly Hero Kits! Can you even imagine how excited I am? My Monthly Hero kits started my cardmaking journey and my craftroom is built on kit contents. I love MMH kits because they came with stamps & dies but also inks, cardstock and embellishments. It was great to have an all in one kit. I also loved the challenge of creating with a theme I may not normally choose. It really gets me thinking outside the box and taking creative risks, which I am usually really happy with.

Happy New Year!

December Hero Studio

12.3.2025

This is a SOUPER end to the 2026 Hero Studio subscriptions! Introverts unite with this cozy soup themed kit. I would stay home and cook soups all winter is I could. Hero Arts is finishing 2026 with a bang! This Card Kit is only $45.

December 2025 Card Kit of the Month

    Kit Includes:
              • You’re Souper Clear Stamp Set
              • You’re Souper Coordinating Dies
              • Big Squishy Hugs Die Set
              • Brown Acrylic Speckle, .5 oz.
               • 10 Sheets of Cardstock- 1 of each color, 5.5″ x 8.5″ (Poppy, Pomegranate, Carrot,
Terra Cotta, Cinnamon, Beeswax, Saffron, Tuscan, Truffle, Alabaster)

This card was simple to put together. I stamped the images on heavyweight cardstock with Intense Black ink and left the stamps in my Misti. I colored the images and and then put the cardstock back in my Misti and restamped with Versafine black ink. I really love a dark, crisp outline that only Versafine gives me. Then I die cut those images.

For the background, I kept it simple. I used my blue blending brush and very lightly inked the bottom left side of the panel. I did not put any ink on my brush, I only used the residual ink on the brush. I did use a craft knife to cut a couple small slits along the soup lines so I could slide the spoons into the pot and bowl. Then, I arranged the images as if the ingredients are being dumped into the soup pot. I think it gives the card some movement.

The Monthly Minis this month are also soup themed. The Clear Stamp and Cut spoke to me because I LOVE Cup o Noodles. I remember eating them growing up and there are still times that I crave them. Nothing better than the salty and savory noodles.

Hero Studio Monthly Minis

I looked up my favorite Cup o Noodles and chose cardstock that coordinated. I stamps and copic colored the images again going back with Versafine over the top to get a very crisp and dark outline. This is always a gamble because its easy to have the cardstock misaligned and end up with double stamping. Then I stamped the background panel with all the bits that come in the Cup O Noodles.

I started to lay everything out on a Cranberry cardstock mat but thought it needed some more interest so I went back to my image search. I noticed there is a theme of yellow strips on many images and the packaging so I made a striped strip. I used the Sentiment strips die with a scrap of Mustard cardstock and then adhered those strips to a Strip of white cardstock. I matted that with Pitch Black cardstock. I put everything together and centered on the stamped background.

Here is a bonus card I created with this set. Notice the slight double stamping because I did line up exactly. It is noticeable but not enough that I didn’t want to use the image at all.

Book Lovers Bookmarks

11.19.2025

Hi all! I am back to share one more project using the November Hero Studio release. I created these bookmarks using several of the subscription products. The actual blank bookmarks I found on Amazon. The set of blank bookmarks came with the clear sleeve, the blank insert and a bunch of colored tassels. I decorated the blank bookmarks just like I would for a card.

I used the Stencil of the month with Hero Arts reactive ink directly on the original bookmark insert to create a background and then stamped the image from the November Clear Stamp and die.

This green bookmark I ink blended at a diagonal and then stamped the Cling stamp of the month over the ink blending. I stamped the image, colored and die cut before adhering to the background.

For this one I used the Metallic sprays and tried to spray just 2/3 of the bookmark. I let that fully dry over night. The original insert cardstock absorbs the spray differently than Neenah cardstock so I wanted to be sure it totally dry before moving on to stamping. For the stamp I used the Whole Studio bonus set with Versafine ink. I did heat set this before sliding into the plastic sleeve.

This one is very similar to the previous one but I used Distress Oxide spray in Robins Egg and the image from the Clear stamp and die of the month.

I think these bookmarks came out so cute and they would make great gifts for coworkers, teachers or anyone who likes to read. Be sure to check out the Hero Studio subscriptions, the subscription window closes on November 27th.
