June My Monthly Hero

6.2.2026

I am back to share another amazing My Monthly Hero release. Hero Arts has two subscription choices. My Monthly Hero and My Monthly Super Hero. Both are a great value and always packed with products.

My Monthly Hero is $45

My Monthly Super Hero is $75

Today I am sharing a few similar cards using the color pallette that came in the kit. I started by having a die cutting party. I die cut the rectangle pool float and popsicle from MMH kit and the shirt ruffle and soda can/straw from each of the colors in the pack minus the fawn. I die cut the popsicle sticks from Hero Arts Sand and the soda cans from Spellbinders Fog. Not gonna lie, the die cutting took me a bit but I got into a rhythm and was watching a baseball game.

I used my Olo markers on the pool float and popsicles to add some shadows and color blocks. The popsicle card was easy, I layed out the popsicles but ended up removing one of the teal ones to have space for a sentiment. I stamped the sentiment directly on the card base in the center. Then I popped up the popsicles with foam tape and arranged them around the sentiment.

Pool float card is similar. I stenciled a background with the water stencil, on the last layer I used White Pearl Hero Paste. I didn’t really like the look of the Pearl Hero Paste on the water but I was not about to waste the panel! I also white heat embossed the sentiment and die cut it. After the background panel dried, I arranged and popped up the sentiment and pool floats. I made sure to let some floats hand off the edge. I honestly like the pearl paste under the pool floats, it makes it look like the water is shimmering in the sunlight.

If it’s not broke, don’t fix it. I continued the repetitive theme with the soda cans. I used my Olo markers to add some color variation to the cans and lay them out on a diagonal. Because I wanted to put all 9 cans with straws on the card panel, I had to put them on the diagonal. I glued the cans first. Then I went back and glued the colored stripe and straw. I had to cut those straws down first. The cans needed a little something so I used a flower stamp and Clear Embossing ink to get the subtle flowers. I was still lost for a sentiment but I went with a simple Hello and used an ink to match the can I was covering. I used Butter Bar Hero Hues ink.

The last card was fun. I actually cut the ruffle twice from each color. I cut down a panel of heavy weight white cardstock to 3.5 inches by 5.5 inches. I started at the bottom and worked my way up because I wanted a layered look. I did not do each layer exactly the same. I had variation while aligning my layers. Before glueing the last pink layer, I trimmed the panel down. I matted that ruffled panel on another white panel that measured 4.5 x 4inches and then adhered that to a card base. There was going to be an uneven mat so I trimmed my card base so the panel was evenly centered.

Whew! That’s it. While the cards were die cut heavy, the impact of the colorful cardstock and repetition is so good. I love a bright rainbow and these projects make me smile. I hope you found some inspiration in my projects today!

I’m so excited to be joining WOW! Embossing Powder today to celebrate the release of their brand-new designer collection: Ethereal Meadows, created by the incredible Brennan Keane!

This 4-piece embossing powder release is inspired by the soft, “quiet awakening” of the natural world—capturing the hazy glow of a spring morning and the delicate textures of a meadow in bloom. Whether you’re a mixed media artist, a cardmaker, or just love a touch of ethereal shine, this collection is a total dream to work with. To be honest, the way these powders catch the light is something you really have to see in action!

We’re sharing a huge wave of inspiration across both Blogs and YouTube today—and we’d love for you to join us on the journey!

I mixed some of my favorite products with Buttercup Blossom to create two cheerful cards. I embossed the background with a Hero Arts Bold Print to create this bright monochromatic background. When I embossed this background I also embossed a full sheet of to die cut flowers from. These large floral dies are from Hero Arts as well. The sentiments are from Pink & Main.

The second project is a two for one card. I used the leftover flowers and created a whole new card. If I were to do this again, I would used the Buttercup Blossom on shadow layer of the sentiment. But, since this was the second *whispers* leftovers card, it’s perfect.

We’re celebrating the Ethereal Meadows release with a fabulous giveaway, and you’ve got multiple chances to win! Modern Bridal Shower Card

3.18.2026

I have a fun twist on the Friends with Flair collection by Hero Arts. This collection was released on March 15 and has so many fun and unique pieces including a Jean Jacket layering stencil. A few years ago, my coworker and friend got married in Las Vegas and she wanted one of these jackets from Etsy. Of course, being the crafter I am, I said “I can make that!” and it was the cutest jacket there ever was! ❤️

For my project, I recreated the Jean jacket on paper! I used the Jean Jacket stencils with Dusty Blue and Stone Wash core ink. I used only three of the stencils to make it look like the back of a Jean jacket.

I die cut the letters MRS using the Luggage Tag alphabet dies twice and stacked them. I arranged the letters on the top part of the jacket and tried to center it as much as possible. Then I used pearls to cover the letters. I went with all one size but you could do a mix. You could even hand write a name and then add the pearls or gems to personalize.

After putting all the pearls on it needed more, I added more pearls on the shoulder area. Then I trimmed the panel down and mounted it on a Chiffon card panel. Have you seen this bridal trend? I imagine any bride would love receiving this card on their special day.

Thank you for popping in today! I hope this inspires you to create something outside the box with this collection.

March 2026 My Monthly Hero

March snuck up on me and this introduction post is a few days later than I usually post Hero Arts. But, he we go! This month’s theme is milk and cookies! One of my favorite treats.

My Monthly Hero
Includes:
• You Are Legen-Dairy Stamp & Cut
• Holy Cow Stencil
• Milk Carton Die Set
• 10 Sheets of Cardstock – 1 of each color, 5.5″ x 8.5″ (Poppy, Pomegranate, Bellini, Beeswax, Saffron, Windy, Celestial, Alabaster, Truffle, Raven)

When I saw the milk carton and small strawberry dies a flood of childhood memories came back. I remember how special the strawberry Nestle powder was as a child. If your mom brought that home from the grocery store it was like hitting the jackpot! So I had to incorporate my love of strawberry milk into a couple of cards.

The last card from the My Monthly Hero Kit used the open milk carton top and a neutral cow print background.

My Monthly Super Hero just adds to the MMH kit with a glass of milk, another punny sentiment set and a layering stencil for the milk carton.

My Monthly SUPER Hero
Includes everything in the regular MMH above, PLUS:
• Spilled Milk Stamp & Cut
• Milk & Cookies Die Set
• Milk Carton Layering Stencil Set

I ended up making so many cookies, like 10-15 of each and then made a few glasses of milk by using heavy weight vellum for the cup. I played around with simpler backgrounds for the first two projects.

For this MMSH last card I used an action wobbler on the milk carton. I love the way the wobbler adds some extra whimsy to this already fun card. The background is just a bunch of those cookies I put together.

I always appreciate you stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. Be sure to follow me on Instagram too! @pocketful_of_rosie

My Monthly Hero February 2026

2.1.2026

We are moving into flower season! The theme of this month’s kit is florals and bunnies. I did a bunch of stamping, coloring and then die cutting. I like to mass produce cards so this is the most time efficient way to create several cards with each kit. I like to make a few versions of different cards and then use the extra pieces to create multiples of those cards.

My Monthly Hero Subscription
Includes:
• Hoppy Spring Stamp & Cut
• Field of Flowers Layering Stencil Set
• Springtime Blooms Die Set
• 10 Sheets of Cardstock – 1 of each color, 5.5″ x 8.5″ (Cascade, Fern, Rainforest, Mint, Carrot, Coral, Bellini, Chiffon, Beeswax, Alabaster)

I used the layering stencil with Hero Arts core inks in Passion Flower, Peony, Dandelion, Cornflower and Green Apple. I also colored some images from the stamp & cut included in the kit. The sentiment is Happy Easter stamp & cut XL.

Assembly of the card was simple. I trimmed the stenciled panel down and added the Easter die cut near the top of the card making sure to leave space to stamp Happy. Lastly, I added the colored images.

My Monthly SUPER Hero
Includes everything in the regular MMH above, plus:
• Hoppy Spring Layering Stencil Set
• Wildflowers Stamp & Cut
• Bunny Trio Die Set
• Grass Die

I made so many of these die cut flowers. I was able to make 3 projects full of flowers. I also die cut the bunnies and grass from the Super Hero kit. Assembly was straight forward, just gluing and popping up some of the dies.

There are so many great pieces in these kits but I think my favorite is the floral dies. They are easy to put together and you don’t need to fill the card, using just a couple makes a big impact too.

As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog and shopping with my affiliate links. I will be back to share a couple more projects with these kits later this month. See you back here soon or or check out my IG @pocketful_of_rosie
