December Hero Studio

12.3.2025

This is a SOUPER end to the 2026 Hero Studio subscriptions! Introverts unite with this cozy soup themed kit. I would stay home and cook soups all winter is I could. Hero Arts is finishing 2026 with a bang! This Card Kit is only $45.

December 2025 Card Kit of the Month

    Kit Includes:
              • You’re Souper Clear Stamp Set
              • You’re Souper Coordinating Dies
              • Big Squishy Hugs Die Set
              • Brown Acrylic Speckle, .5 oz.
               • 10 Sheets of Cardstock- 1 of each color, 5.5″ x 8.5″ (Poppy, Pomegranate, Carrot,
Terra Cotta, Cinnamon, Beeswax, Saffron, Tuscan, Truffle, Alabaster)

This card was simple to put together. I stamped the images on heavyweight cardstock with Intense Black ink and left the stamps in my Misti. I colored the images and and then put the cardstock back in my Misti and restamped with Versafine black ink. I really love a dark, crisp outline that only Versafine gives me. Then I die cut those images.

For the background, I kept it simple. I used my blue blending brush and very lightly inked the bottom left side of the panel. I did not put any ink on my brush, I only used the residual ink on the brush. I did use a craft knife to cut a couple small slits along the soup lines so I could slide the spoons into the pot and bowl. Then, I arranged the images as if the ingredients are being dumped into the soup pot. I think it gives the card some movement.

The Monthly Minis this month are also soup themed. The Clear Stamp and Cut spoke to me because I LOVE Cup o Noodles. I remember eating them growing up and there are still times that I crave them. Nothing better than the salty and savory noodles.

Hero Studio Monthly Minis

I looked up my favorite Cup o Noodles and chose cardstock that coordinated. I stamps and copic colored the images again going back with Versafine over the top to get a very crisp and dark outline. This is always a gamble because its easy to have the cardstock misaligned and end up with double stamping. Then I stamped the background panel with all the bits that come in the Cup O Noodles.

I started to lay everything out on a Cranberry cardstock mat but thought it needed some more interest so I went back to my image search. I noticed there is a theme of yellow strips on many images and the packaging so I made a striped strip. I used the Sentiment strips die with a scrap of Mustard cardstock and then adhered those strips to a Strip of white cardstock. I matted that with Pitch Black cardstock. I put everything together and centered on the stamped background.

Here is a bonus card I created with this set. Notice the slight double stamping because I did line up exactly. It is noticeable but not enough that I didn’t want to use the image at all.

Book Lovers Bookmarks

11.19.2025

Hi all! I am back to share one more project using the November Hero Studio release. I created these bookmarks using several of the subscription products. The actual blank bookmarks I found on Amazon. The set of blank bookmarks came with the clear sleeve, the blank insert and a bunch of colored tassels. I decorated the blank bookmarks just like I would for a card.

I used the Stencil of the month with Hero Arts reactive ink directly on the original bookmark insert to create a background and then stamped the image from the November Clear Stamp and die.

This green bookmark I ink blended at a diagonal and then stamped the Cling stamp of the month over the ink blending. I stamped the image, colored and die cut before adhering to the background.

For this one I used the Metallic sprays and tried to spray just 2/3 of the bookmark. I let that fully dry over night. The original insert cardstock absorbs the spray differently than Neenah cardstock so I wanted to be sure it totally dry before moving on to stamping. For the stamp I used the Whole Studio bonus set with Versafine ink. I did heat set this before sliding into the plastic sleeve.

This one is very similar to the previous one but I used Distress Oxide spray in Robins Egg and the image from the Clear stamp and die of the month.

I think these bookmarks came out so cute and they would make great gifts for coworkers, teachers or anyone who likes to read. Be sure to check out the Hero Studio subscriptions, the subscription window closes on November 27th.

November Hero Studio

10.3.2025

Book lovers are going to love the November Hero Studio release! When my box arrived and I opened it, I squealed! I do not have anything like this in my stash. The Card kit of the Month is packed with great products.

November 2025 Card Kit of the Month

    Kit Includes:
              • To Be Read Pile 4×6 Clear Stamp Set
              • To Be Read Pile Coordinating Dies
              • Happy Place Die Set
              • Professional Bookworm 3×4 Stamp & Cut
              • Gold Hero Wax, 1 oz.
              • 10 Sheets of Cardstock- 1 of each color, 5.5″ x 8.5″ (Bellini, Coral, Carrot, Terra Cotta,
Beeswax, Saffron, Tuscan, Peridot, Seaside, Waterfall)

For my Card kit project, I focused on the stack of books die cuts. I die cut the main stack twice form heavy weight white cardstock and then layered the embossed books on top. I used Spellbinders cardstocks in Blush, Tutu, Dahlia, Mint, Breeze, Lavender and Hero Arts Canary with gold heat embossing. and since I was doing all this embossing and die cutting, I did it twice so I ended up with two projects.

After the book stack was complete, I moved on to the background. I did two panels at the same time and choose Adriatic and Bermuda cardstocks. I ink blended the edges with Nautical ink and left a large lighter area in the middle. I wanted the book stack to “glow” a bit. Then I used the gold Hero Wax included in the kit to splatter the background. I use a water brush and a little water to make the wax a thinner consistency that is easy to splatter. That was it! Two cards at once.

Hero Studio Monthly Minis

This project was fun. I die cut the books and worm from all the same cardstocks I used on the previous cards. The bookbag is die cut from Hero Arts Sand cardstock with a little ink blending on the edges for dimension. I put the bag together and layered in the books behind the bag handle.

The background panel is Lavender cardstock. I used Unicorn white pigment ink and the Cling stamp of the month. This was a brand new juicy ink pad and it stamped beautifully. This is your reminder to give your pigment ink a spa day and reink it.

Classic Holiday Wreath

10.18.2025

Hi Crafty friends! I have one more project to share highlighting the October Hero Studio. I paired the fancy die of the month with one of my favorite holiday stamp and cuts Holly Berries to create a holiday wreath. I love that this die set comes with a bunch of different stings of lights and a few dies to cut lots of light bulbs.

For this project I stamped the Cling stamp of the month on Antique Ivory cardstock with Soft Vanilla ink. This will be my background panel. Then I did a bunch of die cutting. I die cut the small holly sprig 8 times from Meadow cardstock. I did some light ink blending with Fresh Lawn and Pine in for dimension. I added Gold Hero Pearls to all of the berry bulbs and set all that to side to dry.

I die cut the rounded sting of lights 4 times from Shamrock cardstock. I sprayed a scrap of white cardstock with Iridescent Shimmer Spray and then die cut the light bulbs once it was dry. I glued the bulbs onto the string of lights and then added glossy accents to each bulb. I put that to the side to dry completely.

Now to go back to the wreath. I traced a circle in the middle of my panel and adhered the 8 holly sprigs around the circle. I tried to only glue down the center branch around the circle. I weaved the string of lights through after. and then snipped apart single lights to fill in the wreath.

I die cut the bow from gold glitter cardstock and popped that up with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment in black ink from Holiday Greeting Stamp & Cut. If you are interested in Hero Studio subscriptions, you can find more information here. October subscriptions are open until October 27.

I think the colors and design give this wreath a timeless and classic holiday feel. You can easily change this up with different foliage and by using colored cardstock for the lights. See you all back her on November 1 for the next Hero Studio release.

October Hero Studio

10.1.2025

I threw my Swiftie heart into this release and used her upcoming album as inspiration for my projects today. I can’t tell you exactly when I became a full on Swiftie but I cannot deny the fact that Taylor Swift has me caught up in Easter eggs, numerology and granny hobbies. The timing of this October Hero Studio release is so perfect. It is a fun and unique for the holidays.

October 2025 Card Kit of the Month

    Kit Includes:

           • Deck the Halls with Disco Balls 6×8 Stamp Set
           • Deck the Halls with Disco Balls Coordinating Dies
           • Have a Ball Die Set
           • Gold Embossing Powder .5 oz
           • 10 Sheets of Cardstock- 1 of each color, 5.5″ x 8.5″ (Poppy, Dahlia, Tutu, Blush,
Alabaster, Beeswax, Tuscan, Fern, Seaside, Waterfall)
           • Two Sheets of Gold Matte Paper, 5.5″ x 8.5″

I drew my inspiration from the color palette of the new Taylor Swift album. For my background I used Spellbinders Mint cardstock and splattered with Creamsicle Reactive inker.I cannot tell you how excited I was when I found orange glitter paper in my stash. I used the large disco ball and die cut it along with a similar size circle from Papaya cardstock. I glued most of the disco ball to the papaya backer. The pieces that popped out I popped up with foam tape for dimension. I die cut the large bow from Spellbinder Waterfall cardstock, did some light ink blending and assembled with precision glue. I heat embossed the sentiment with Creamsicle reactive ink and clear embossing powder on the Waterfall cardstock too. Lastly I die cut some of the sparkle dies from Papaya cardstock.

I heat embossed the sentiment with Creamsicle reactive ink and clear embossing powder on the Waterfall cardstock too. Lastly I die cut some of the sparkle dies from Papaya cardstock. Then it was on to assembling the card. I think any Swiftie would be so happy to get this card in the mail.

Hero Studio Monthly Minis

  • CD1025 October Stamp & Cut of the Month: Sparkle & Shine
  • FD1025 October Die Set of the Month: Twinkle Lights
  • LS1025 October Layering Stencils of the Month: The Tree
  • RB1025 October Cling of the Month: Starlight

Again, I used the new TS album as color inspiration. This layering stencil makes quick one layer cards that have tons of detail and a bold statement. I started with a white card panel and used Artic ink on stencil 1, Paradise ink on stencil 2, Tangerine and Papaya ink on stencil 3 and Tangering and Bermuda on stencil 4. I went back with stencil 3 and did a thin layer of Glitter Hero Paste. The sentiment is stamped with Papaya ink. I trimmed it down and added it to a card base.

Thank you for hopping along today! Don’t forget to subscribe to Hero Studio so you can get these chart topping products. I have a few more projects I will be sharing later this month so be sure to follow me on Instagram and subscribe to my blog.
